When you purchase, you will receive a registration BIN key that is used to activate
any of the versions of the RetroScan-HD or the new RetroScan-HD Pro software on this page.

NOTE: It is your responsibility to keep track of this registration key.
We have no way to replace it should you lose it and need it in the future.
If this registration key is misplaced you will have to purchase another.
Please make a copy of the key on a flashcard or thumb drive.
 
How to install this software. Please read carefully.
1- Save the BIN key to your PC in a place that is easy to locate later, such as your desktop.
2- Download the software from the links below.
3- When you install the RetroScan-HD Pro software, it will ask you to browse to the BIN key and click it with your mouse.
4- Once it is clicked, the key information will automatically log itself into your PC so you don't have to manually type it in.

Future installations of the software will not require you to do anything else as long as you keep this key
available on your PC. So make sure that you save it someplace easy to find!

NOTE: Exporting .MOV files requires the free version of QuickTime.

If only exporting image sequences, QuickTime is not required.
Set your font size to 100% for proper operation of this software.
If international, make sure that our PC regional/numeric settings
are USA/English before installation of this software.

NOTE: Sometimes QuickTime does not load the required codec to create .MOV files.
It is advised to also load the Panasonic P2 Viewer Plus software, which is free.
the P2 Viewer Plus will fill in the missing codec for QuickTime to work properly.
This is not a deficiency of the RetroScan software. It is just a quirk of QuickTime.

Please note that some browsers, like Chrome, will see this download as malicious.
This download is from a protected server and it contains no virus or malware.
However, because it uses a free installer common to a lot of viruses and,
because it is a software that is only used by a small fraction of the internet
community, poorly designed virus blockers will mark it as suspicious.
Be assured you can download it safely.

NOTE: If using with the 2fps Retro-8, Retro-9.5 or Retro-16, you must
uncheck the "RetroPro" box in the software Settings or you will not
be able to calibrate your unit correctly nor transfer film.
