Super 8 and regular 8, aside from being two different size frames, are also in two different places on the film. Therefore, realigning the camera means not only resizing the frame but also moving up and down, side to side and, occasionally, correcting for differences in frame line level. The unique nodal point pan and tilt head allows for precision movement across the film plane without distortion, keystoning or loss of flat focus; all at your finger tips.

from from Super 8 to Regular 8. Separate controls for zoom, tilt, pan,
focus and even rotation are all packed into one, tiny wonderous little
package. Just turn the knobs while looking at your production monitor and
what you see is what you get. It couldn't be any easier.
